California American Water Releases 2013 Water Quality Reports for Monterey Area

reports for customers within its seven Monterey County District service
areas.
The reports show that water quality meets state and federal standards
for all Monterey main area (the communities of Carmel, Carmel Valley,
Del Rey Oaks, Monterey, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, Sand City and
Seaside), Ryan Ranch, Bishop, Hidden Hills, Ambler Park, Toro and
Chualar systems. California American Water serves about 100,000
residents within these areas.

exceeds drinking water standards for purity,” said Director of
Operations Eric Sabolsice. “This is the result of the hard work our team
puts in every day to treat and test our community’s water supply.”
The annual Consumer Confidence Report is a performance measure that
compares the quality of water supplied by California American Water
against standards established by the EPA and the California Department
of Public Health. The report describes local drinking water sources and
shares test results, including substances detected and their levels.

Customers who wish to receive a printed copy of a report may contact the

one be mailed to them.
